Hey Babes! I’m back with another beauty post for ya today, but not just any beauty post, oh no, THE beauty post. Today i’m going to be sharing with you my Best of Beauty list for 2017! *yaaaaaaaaaay*
2017 was a HUGE year for the beauty industry, with so many new players on the scene like our girl Rhianna with her cosmetics line Fenty Beauty that revolutionised the industry with it’s mission to make sure everyone felt included and they sure as hell delivered. With over 40 shades of foundation in the lines initial drop it finally started to pave a way for other beauty brands to quickly become more inclusive.
Other than Fenty Beauty which was arguably the most iconic drop in the beauty industry fo the year there have been countless other amazing products that have been released, so without further ado here is my Best of Beauty round up for 2017!
Tarte Rainforest of the Sea Water Foundation.
I believe this foundation released in 2016 but this baby came into my life in January of 2017, and I honestly haven’t found a foundation that I like as much as this. It has the most stunning skin like finish with a medium buildable coverage that just works like freaking magic !
Maybelline Master Concealer.
This concealer is so underated and so so cheap guys! I know most beauty bloggers will probably list the Tarte Shape Tape concealer as their favourite concealer but honestly I found it a little too thick for my liking (plus the shade I have is like waaay too pale for me) so I really didn’t find myself reaching for it all that often. The Maybelline Master Concealer though its the perfect medium consistency with a reaaaaally nice coverage.
10/10 do recommend.
Jaclyn Hill x Morphe pallette.
Ah The jaclyn Hill Palette by Morphe x Jaclyn Hill. A scandelous drop with many issues surrounding the new ingredients and formulas, the infamous cake leak and of course the re-packaging for Ulta a month or so ago, this palette definitely hasn’t been a quiet one. Full of 35 custom made eyeshadows full of browns, reds, blues, blacks, purples, greens and golds this palette is an artists dream! I use my palette almost every single day that I do my makeup and have never EVER been disappointed with it.
I also wanted to give the STILA Magnificent Metals a mention in my best of beauty too because these babies are freaking amazing! A liquid glitter with either a sheer coverage or a fully pigmented liquid shadow, these innovative and extremely high quality products can take a look from pretty to fabulous!
I won’t go into too much details aboout these products, but here are my favourite ‘Body’ products of the year!
‘Ballet Slippers’ Nail Polish by Essie.
What were your favourite beauty products for the year?
Until next time,
Love, Angela xx.
