Hi loves! Hope you’re all doing well on this fine Saturday afternoon. I know that I am terribly late with this post – like, a whole 24 hours to be exact – but I’ve finally had a chance to get this up and I’m very excited to get into it! Today, I wanted to talk to you about social media and how much of a valuable tool it has become in the day-to-day life of… well everybody to be honest, but especially for bloggers and those who have turned this part of the net into a career.
One of my absolute favourite social media platforms as you may or may not know is Twitter. I love the simplicity of a nice short tweet, how easy it is to use and how incredibly inviting it is for all kinds of across the globe. Once I began using twitter more and more I started using this to my advantage by following a few blogger accounts and joining blog chats as often as I could, resulting in new friends that I feel so incredibly lucky to have come across and in turn more views and traffic to my blog.
Like I said, Twitter is an incredible tool for connecting with others and likewise it is a very powerful tool for sharing your content and reaching a larger audience. So today I wanted to share with you my favourite accounts on Twitter for bloggers to follow! These accounts will help you reach a larger audience, allow you to connect with other bloggers and a lot of the time become an absolutely incredible support system from both personal and profesh matters.
So, without further ado here are my top 5 favourite twitter accounts for bloggers to follow!
Hands down my favourite twitter account that I have come across as a blogger and as a view/reader/I don’t know what to call it haha, and if I were to only recommend one twitter account to join it would be this one. Not only do they retweet your twitter blog post for over 10k people to see, they also host plenty of blogchats throughout the week along with comment threads, follow threads etc. I like to try to join in as much as I can with the bogchats because they are SO much fun to do, but with the time zone differences between the UK and good ol’ Aus it can mean early wake up calls which your girl isn’t always about haha.
Next on the list is Bloggers Tribe! This is such an uplifting and positive twitter accounts for bloggers to follow and connect with. Like GrlPowr chat they do host plenty of blogchats, comment threads etc and they RT your posts to almost 11k people! Just make sure to use the hashtag #bloggerstribe to get a RT!
Beauty Bees, this one is for you. An account to share all beauty blog posts and connect with other beauty bloggers as the name would suggest. I can’t say that I’ve ever seen a blog chat or anything like that on there and there’s nothing listed in the description but that doesn’t matter. I have found some absolutely amazing beauty blogs through this twitter account that I read on the reg and for that fact alone I’m sticking it on this list. Although being retweeted to over 34 THOUSAND PEOPLE doesn’t hurt either.
A connecting hub for all things beauty, fashion & lifestyle this FAB twitter account run by Rachele from thehuntforfabulous.com is amazing to @ in your blog post tweets for a retweet to over 7k people! For me as a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger this type of account is perf because all of my posts seem to fit into their categories plus it’s nice to get a variation of posts in my twitter timeline to read. definitely keep an eye on this one!
Lucky last is blogging Gals! This was one of the very first blogger accounts that I came across on twitter and I’m so damn glad that they are relaunching from January 28th because I have missed them! With over 34 thousand followers this account in particular is ace for sharing your content, connecting with other bloggers and even connecting with brands. Highly highly recommend and I am very excited for their anticipated return.
There are so many twitter accounts out there for bloggers to share their content with but these are the top 5 I like to use regularly! Going forward I will add a few more posts like these based on my experiences as a blogger – would anyone be interested in a post dedicated to Facebook pages and groups for bloggers?
Until next time,
Love Angela xx.
