Hi lovelies, I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything like this but I’m back with a fresh and rosy makeup look for you all! Maybe it’s because spring is here to say hello, or maybe because i’m right into the minimal side of things lately, but soft glowy looks with flushed cheeks and rosy stained lips just have me falling head over heels in love!
The first step for this look is to prime with the L’Oreal Lumi primer.
I put one pump in-between my fingers and gently massaged it all over my face.
I am totally obsessed with this product, and I often wear it on its own for a radiant glow.
The foundation I have used for this look is NARS Sheer Glow in the shade Deuville.
It has a beautiful light to medium coverage that can be built up to a full if needed, and it looks so natural on the skin! I put two pumps on the back of my hand and swept it onto my face with the Morphe S94 flat top brush.
After foundation, I used the Maybelline Fit Me concealer in light and swept it underneath my eyes and on my cupids bow to softly brighten up the face and highlight my centre features, giving me the illusion of being well rested and fresh looking.
As for powder products, I’m going to be totally honest with you and let you know that I don’t often set my face since my skin can be very dry, but today I just lightly dusted the Rimmel translucent pressed powder over my T-zone and then ever so lightly warmed up the outer edges of my face with the Chocolate Soleil bronzer in light by Too Faced.
(Side note: This smells DELISH!)
I wanted to keep my eyes really minimal today, with a big focus on the lashes!
Firstly, I curled my eyelashes with an eyelash curler and then carefully lined my lids with black liquid liner.
Once I let my liner sit for 30 seconds or so, I took my Better Than Sex mascara by Too Faced and coated my top and bottom lashes!
Okay, so here is where I may loose some of you, but lately I haven’t been touching my brows at all – Zero. Zilch. Nada. – and today is no exception!
All I do is take a spoolie and give them a brush so that any foundation or powder that may have transferred onto them is blended out.
Once they have been brushed I then simply set them in place with clear brow gel.
LIPS & BLUSH
Now of course the main stars of a fresh and rosy makeup look are the lips and blush!
For the illusion of flushed cheeks I have taken NARS Orgasm which is such a lovely pink blush with fine gold reflects. I swept this onto my cheeks and added a fraction more than I usually would right on the apples of my cheeks. Once all of the product is down, I take my blusher brush and lightly sweep it across the top of my nose.
Then to finish off, I have taken Lust Affair by Maybelline which is a perfect mix of a deep pink and a very light red on my finger and then I just gently tapped it onto my lips to give it a more stained look.
Until next time,
Love, Angela xx.
