BB creams, CC creams… DD creams? To be honest it can be hard to keep up with all of these makeup potions, but lately I have had such a craving to minimise my makeup routine and start wearing something more lightweight on my skin as opposed to a heavy foundation. Cue the Bourjois Paris 123 Perfect CC cream.
Let’s start off with packaging! The Bourjois Paris 123 Perfect CC cream comes in a beige coloured thin plastic squeeze tube with a black screw top cap, which is great for travelling because you don’t need to worry about it breaking and going everywhere!
It has an extremely thin and runny consistency so you will need to be careful when you squeeze out product to avoid a mess. Luckily I have a light hand and always start with small amounts to build up, so I was safe, but I can definitely see someone having an accident by squeezing to hard on the bottle.
Starting off by using my Morphe S94 flat top brush to pick up the product, I lightly swept it onto my face in small flicking motions. It has a dewy and luminous finish without leaving my skin looking oily, even after I had lightly set it with a translucent powder. This stuff is magic. Pure magic I tell you!
As for its longevity and wearability I am impressed! I decided to really test it out and wear it to a club for a night out with the girls, knowing full well that I would be dancing my heart out and getting up to all sorts of crazy things, and this seriously stood the test! I did re-apply a little bit of powder at about 1am but it pulled up better than half of my high-end foundations.
Available from Priceline (here) the Bourjois Paris 123 Perfect CC cream comes in 4 shades and costs $25.00. Even though it isn’t the cheapest out there, it also isn’t the most expensive CC cream that I’ve come across.
All in all I am sooooo impressed by this product, in fact I have been using it almost every single day since I purchased it! I do wish that there was more than 4 shades in the range and that the fruity fragrance wasn’t as strong but nonetheless this really is magic in a bottle!
Have you tried this cc cream? If so, let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
Until next time,
Love, Angela xx.
