Bronze Makeup Look: Pretty Fun & Fearless Palette

Bronze Makeup Look: Pretty Fun & Fearless Palette

Hello everyone!

Following on from my previous post which was a review on the Chloe Morello & Ciaté London Beauty Collection, I wanted to share with you my go to look that I have been wearing on almost a daily basis since I received the gorgeous collection.

This look is SO simple that anyone could re-create this and the best part is that it only takes me maybe 10 minutes to complete! This look is also perfect for any occasion because you could just change the lip colour and take it from sexy to cute or even pair with the a nice nude lipgloss and you’re good to go.

I have a youtube makeup tutorial on this look here if you would prefer to watch, otherwise I have listed all the steps below!

Love, Angela xo.

Step 1. Prime with the L’oréal Lumi Magique Primer.

The first step in this makeup look is to prime my face using the Lumi primer by L’oréal.
This primer leaves the most pearlescent and radiant finish on the skin without leaving you looking oily. I like to apply one generous squirt of this on to my finger and gently massage it into my skin as if it wear a moisturiser. Remember to give yourself a minute or so in between priming and using your foundation to ensure it seeps into your skin.cjd zl.jpgStep 2. Foundation – Hourglass Vanish Stick Foundation

This foundation is incredible! It is medium to full coverage (more on the full coverage side!) and leaves the most gorgeous finish on your skin.
I like to apply this foundation my drawing two lines on each cheek, a line on my chin and forehead, then I will go in with a flat top foundation brush and lightly blend it into the skin.bjkcbdj.jpgStep 3. Conceal – Urban Decay Naked Skin & NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer.

I use two different concealers for two different reasons. The first concealer I use is the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer in the shade custard and I use this to conceal my blemishes! The trick with concealing blemishes is to make sure that your concealer you use matches your foundation or base colour as closely as possible so that they are covered and you have a flawless base! Using a lighter shade would defeat the entire purpose of concealing any zits because it would just make them a lighter shade and stand out.I alternate between blending this concealer out with my ring finger gently or with a small concealer brush.

The second concealer I use is the urban decay Naked Skin Concealer in fair-neutral. I apply this under my eyes in a upside down triangle shape, draw a line down my nose and pop thre strokes on the centre of my forehead and centre of my shin. I like to blend this out with a damp beauty sponge.

Now that we have our base down we need to set it in place so it doesn’t move and will stay all day! I have a ride or die relationship with the Laura Mercier Loose Trasclusent powder. I like to lightly dust this over my entire face with a powder brush.

Time to add some shape! Taking ‘Bad Habit’ contour pan from Makeup Geek I apply this to the hollows of my cheek bones, very lightly on my jaw and on the corners of my forehead.

A look isn’t complete without some highlight! I took Champagne Pop by Becca & Jaclyn Hill on a far brush and popped it on the high points of my cheek bones, the tip of my nose and Cupid’s bow.

For my brows, I filled them in with the Chi Chi Cosmetics brow pomade in Soft Brown. This brow pomade is SO inexpensive and SO good! It’s taken over my obsession with the Too Faced Bullet Brows and my ABH Brow Definer.

Firstly I took a mix of the shades ‘Skinny Dip’ and ‘Unconditional’ and buffed them into my upper crease to create a transition shade. I also buffed these colours onto my lower lash line.

Then I took ‘On Fire’ and popped that directly into my eye socket crease, keeping it just a fraction lower than our previous colour and making sure to buff it into the outer corner of my eye.

Taking ‘Shine Bright’ which is a gorgeous gold shade using my finger I popped this all over my lid. To make it pop just a little more I took some of ‘Vacay’ and put it directly in the centre of my eyelid.

To give my eye a little more definition I took ‘Queen Bee’ on my outer corner.Step 9. Ciaté Wonderwand Mascara

To finish off the eye look I gave my lashes a good coat of mascara. This mascara feels really nice on the lashes and I wear it almost everyday, but as I said in my review it can be quiet thick and clumpy so you need to spend a little more time to get it right.

* I also chucked on a pair of false lashes but it’s totally optional, I don’t put them on every day.

To tie the whole look together I put the Liquid velvet Liquid lipstick in Pin Up on and that it is for the entire look!
